Thu, 7 February 2008 Welcome to this Sacred Assembly. Today we join
an ancient tradition, designed and set aside by God to bring His people
together for something really significant. It’s cool to remember that Jesus
Himself participated in sacred assemblies as a man and that His Spirit is here
with us today, sharing in ours. You are encouraged to set aside your distractions,
self-consciousness, and cynicism so that you are open to everything God wants
to say and do here among us. The sacred assemblies described in the scriptures served
