Sun, 17 September 2006 If you've got the life
of Jesus inside you, you almost can't help but share it with others. There are
a lot of ways to do that, and a lot of ways that people can respond when we
share it. But the question for today is how do we respond to the response that
we get when we share the life of Christ with others? Check out Acts 14. Comments[0] |
Sun, 10 September 2006 What's your September
11th Story? Where were you when the towers fell? Even though many
of us were not together when we experienced it, still we share that experience
together. Sharing the stories of things we hold in common is one way to connect
with people around us. Sharing how Jesus steps into that story is a way to help
others connect with Jesus. Check out Acts 13:16-42. Comments[0] |

Sun, 3 September 2006 Sometimes God does really
cool stuff (like break Peter out of jail), and sometimes He doesn't (like let
James get killed). OK, we know we can trust God in the end, right? But what
can we do while we're waiting for the results to come in? In the twelfth
chapter of Acts, one little verse shines some light on this
question. Check out Acts 12:1-19. Comments[0] |
Sun, 3 September 2006 The
Lord is at work not only in the triumphs of life, but also in the tragedies.
Some of the work of the Lord is absolutely incredible, coming in response to
passionate prayer. But some of His work is not so incredible. Nevertheless, one
thing is certain: the Lord, because of his gracious goodness and love, is at
work. Check out Acts 12:1-24. Comments[0] |
